Orediggers Earn #2 Seed In South Central Region For 2025 Division II Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –
Following a thrilling run through the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championship in Grand Junction last week that resulted in their 11th tournament title, the Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team was named the #2 seed in the South Central region Monday evening during the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship selection show and for the fourth consecutive season, will host the opening rounds of the national tournament at Stermole Stadium.
 
Mines (14-2-4, 9-1-2 RMAC) will host first and second round action starting Friday November 21 as #3 seed UCCS (13-2-5, 8-1-3 RMAC) takes on #6 Midwestern State (11-2-6, 10-0-4 LSC). The Orediggers will play the winner of that match on Sunday November 23. The rest of the South Central Region will be played in Dallas as national #1 Dallas Baptist (18-1-0, 12-1-0 LSC) earned the #1 seed in the region and hosting rights as well. They await the winner of the opening round match between #4 seed Colorado Mesa (14-3-2, 9-0-2 RMAC) and #5 seed Texas Woman's (15-3-3, 9-2-3 LSC).
