The Colorado School of Mines Ice Hockey team hits the road this weekend for a two-game series against Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO. The Orediggers and Mavericks will face off on Friday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m., followed by a Saturday afternoon matchup on November 8 at 3:00 p.m.

Mines enters the weekend looking to carry forward the energy from recent competitive performances and continue building consistency on both ends of the ice. The Orediggers' defensive core and goaltending have been key contributors early in the season, while the offensive group continues to create more sustained pressure and scoring opportunities.

The weekend series marks Mines' matchup against the Mavericks this season and presents an important opportunity to test their depth and endurance against a physical Colorado Mesa lineup. With back-to-back games, the Orediggers will look to maintain strong puck possession, capitalize on special teams chances, and execute clean breakouts to control the tempo of play.
