Oredigger Quartet Earn Scholar All-Region Honors From United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Four members of the Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team were recognized Tuesday for their academic and athletic achievements as Allie Lundgren, Kaitlyn Manalili, Afton Rasco and Natalie Rouse were named Scholar All-Region honorees by the United Soccer Coaches.
 
Lundgren, the 2025 RMAC Tournament Most Valuable Player and an All-Region selection by the United Soccer Coaches, fields a 3.93 GPA in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering. The senior from Coto de Caza, California finished 2025 second among RMAC goalies in saves with 83, the fifth-most in a single season in program history. In 21 matches, she clocked 1,753:49 with six solo shutouts and a 14-2-5 record backed with a 0.77 GAA and an .847 save percentage. In 46 career matches, Lundgren clocked 3,857:45 in goal with a 33-4-7 record, 16 shutouts, 148 saves, a 0.64 GAA and an .841 save percentage. Her time in Golden ends with her fourth on the all-time save list, sixth in shutouts and fifth in goals against average.
 
Manalili carries a 3.94 GPA in Geophysical Engineering and was named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll earlier this fall. The senior from Shoreline, Washington followed up a breakout junior season with an even better finale campaign. A Second Team All-RMAC and United Soccer Coaches All-Region honoree, she tallied 10 assists for 10 points and became just the eighth player in program history with 10 or more assists in a single season. Manalili closed her career with three goals and 19 assists for 25 points in 84 matches with 38 starts for 3,592 minutes.
 
Rasco picks up her second honor of the fall from the United Soccer Coaches following an All-Region selection last week and has a 3.42 GPA in Chemical Engineering. The senior from Boise, Idaho capped off her career with a stellar 2025 campaign, scoring three times while tying with Manalili for the team and RMAC lead in assists with 10 for a total of 16 points. She became the seventh player in program history with 10 or more assists in a single season and in doing so vaulted herself into seventh in program history in total points with 54. In her four seasons at Mines, Rasco also scored 18 goals with six game-winners while logging 4,665 minutes in 82 matches with 56 starts. Her 18 goals rank in the top 10 all-time in program history.
 
Rouse, a Third Team All-American selection by the United Soccer Coaches earlier this month, graduated in May 2025 with a degree in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and a 3.98 GPA and is in her first semester of graduate school studying Operations Research Nuclear Engineering. An RMAC First Team All-Academic selection earlier this season, Rouse returned from injury this fall to finish second on the team in goals scored with five for 10 points. Three of her five goals were game-winners and four of five came by way of set pieces as the Carlsbad, California native was one of five Orediggers to start all 21 matches this fall and led the team with 1,909 minutes played. She was a lynchpin in a defense that recorded a 0.76 GAA and nine shutouts.
