GOLDEN, Colo. – Tuesday the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the organization's 2025 Academic All-America® teams for women's soccer as two members of the Colorado School of Mines program were recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments with Natalie Rouse and Allie Lundgren being named as two the nation's elite student-athletes.

Rouse earns the second Academic All-America® as she was named a First Team selection this year following a Second Team appointment in 2023, while Lundgren was named a Third Team Academic All-America® honoree for her first career honor. The duo become the 215th and 216th Academic All-America® selections from Mines all-time and the 20th and 21st selections from the women's soccer program. Women's soccer has now had at least one Academic All-America® selection each year since 2020 and has had two selections in three consecutive years.

Rouse graduated in May 2025 with a degree in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and a 3.98 GPA, is in her first semester of graduate school studying Operations Research Nuclear Engineering. Named an All-American last week by both D2CCA and the United Soccer Coaches for her on-field performance this fall, Rouse shined in her return to the field this fall. The third-year UNLV transfer was second on the team in scoring with five goals for 10 points and had three game-winning scores, and was a lynchpin in a defense that recorded a 0.76 GAA and nine shutouts. She becomes the fifth player in program history to become a multi-time Academic All-America® selections.

Lundgren, the 2025 RMAC Tournament Most Valuable Player, fields a 3.93 GPA in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering and was named an RMAC First Team All-Academic selection earlier this month. The senior from Coto de Caza, California was named a Second Team All-South Central Region selection by both the D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches in recent weeks. Lundgren finished 2025 second among RMAC goalies in saves with 83, the fifth-most in a single season in program history. In 21 matches, she clocked 1,753:49 with six solo shutouts and a 14-2-5 record backed with a 0.77 GAA and an .847 save percentage.
