GOLDEN, Colo. – Oredigger volleyball standouts
Amanda Donais Dudley and
Jenna McLaughlin were named all-region Wednesday afternoon on the even of Mines' NCAA tournament opener.

The American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) crowned Donais Dudley First-Team All- South Central Region.
Jenna McLaughlin claimed Second-Team All-South Central Region distinction from the Division 2 Conference Commissioners' Association (D2CCA). Donais Dudley's accolade was voted on by AVCA-member head volleyball coaches from across NCAA Division II's South Central Region which includes the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and Lone Star Conference. McLaughlin's award was voted on by communications professionals from the South Central Region, and they could not vote for their own players. Madi Parrish from Angelo State was the consensus South Central Region Player of the Year. The AVCA gave MSU Denver's Jenny Glenn the nod as Region Coach of the Year and her student-athlete Karyna Werley Region Freshman of the Year.

Donais Dudley's AVCA First-Team All-Region nod makes her a three-time all-region performer including AVCA first-team distinction and D2CCA second-team honors in the fall of 2021. Her 2025 resume includes 236 kills at 2.74 kills per set on .214 hitting from the right side with 256 digs at 2.98 digs per set, 64 total blocks, 17 assists and 13 service aces. In 23 appearances so far, Donais Dudley has accumulated 11 double-doubles and posted a career-high 22 digs against South Dakota Mines on Nov. 8. The Oredigger graduate student currently ranks #11 in the RMAC in total kills, #14 in kills per set, #11 in points per set, and #12 in total points. For her career, the Ramona, Calif., native touts 1,132 kills, 958 digs, 237 total blocks, 106 service aces, and 104 assists. She was Second-Team All-RMAC in 2018, 2019, and the Spring of 2021. Donais Dudley upgraded to First-Team All-RMAC in the fall of 2021 and the fall of 2025. She was AVCA Third-Team All-America in the fall of 2021 as well. Donais Dudley finished her undergraduate career and earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Mines during the 2021-22 academic year. However, she still had a year of collegiate eligibility remaining due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After three years of fulltime work, Donais Dudley decided to return to Mines to pursue a master's degree in mechanical engineering and play her final season of college volleyball.

McLaughlin's D2CCA Second-Team All-Region nod marks the first regional award of her career thanks to a breakout sophomore campaign. The middle blocker from Zanesville, Ohio, rolls into the NCAA tournament boasting 297 kills at 2.88 kills per set on .326 hitting with 100 total blocks, 45 digs, seven service aces and four assists. Additional 2025 accolades for McLaughlin include First-Team All-RMAC, RMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 15 and Nov. 3, and RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 8. Nationally, she is top-100 in both total blocks and hitting percentage. Within the RMAC, McLaughlin ranks #8 in hitting percentage, #10 in kills per set, #6 in blocks per set, and #6 in points per set.

The D2CCA also recognized Parish as region Outside Hitter of the Year, Alyssa Boyte (MSU Denver) as region Middle Blocker of the Year, Camdyn Sears (Lubbock Christian) as region Setter of the Year, and Alyssa Koehl (St. Mary's) as region Libero of the Year. Overall, the AVCA teams included 14 first-team selections and six honorable mention selections for each region. They selected 160 student-athletes representing 85 different programs. The D2CCA makeup featured seven players on the first team and seven more on the second team. In the South Central Region, both the LSC and RMAC had seven selections each with CSU Pueblo, MSU Denver, and West Texas A&M tied for first with two representatives apiece.

Donais Dudley and McLaughlin lead Mines into its first NCAA tournament appearance since 2022 as the seventh-seeded Orediggers take on second-seeded UCCS on Thursday at 11 a.m. inside the Auraria Event Center on the campus of MSU Denver. If Mines wins, they play again Friday evening at the same location and face the winner of the match between third-seeded Angelo State and sixth-seeded Lubbock Christian.
