The Colorado School of Mines Women's Rugby team delivered a statement win on the national stage, defeating Siena College 61–5 to advance to the Division III National Championship. With a spot in the title match on the line, the Orediggers played with confidence, speed, and relentless pressure from the opening kickoff to the final whistle.

Mines struck first when freshman Kate Osborn opened the scoring with the first try of the match. Piper Lee followed shortly after with a try of her own, giving Mines early control. The momentum continued as No. 8 Amy Sessions powered through the defense to extend the lead to 21–0.

Siena answered back with a try of their own to make it 21–5, but Mines responded immediately. Center Ayana Mejorado broke through for the Orediggers' next score, followed quickly by Lee's second try of the match. With conversions added, Mines headed into halftime holding a commanding 35–5 advantage.

The second half opened just like the first. Freshman Osborn found her way into the try zone again to start the scoring, and Lee continued her dominant performance with yet another try. Moments later, fellow freshman Mejorado added another score to the board, showcasing the depth and fearlessness of Mines' young talent.

The final nail in the coffin came from center Kylie Bogert, who finished off the Orediggers' scoring to seal the 61–5 victory and punch Mines' ticket to the national title match.

With the semifinal win secured, the Orediggers now turn their focus to the Division III National Championship against Endicott College. With dominant postseason performances, explosive offense, and disciplined team play, Mines heads into the final with momentum and unfinished business firmly on their side.
