Five Orediggers Named All-Region by United Soccer Coaches

United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams
 
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Tuesday the United Soccer Coaches announced their All-Region teams for women's soccer as the Colorado School of Mines  was well-represented on the latest postseason honors list with a total of five selections on the All-South Central Region teams.
 
A total of 13 institutions had at least one student-athlete named to one of three All-Region teams. Mines was tied for first with the most selections at five alongside Colorado Mesa, Dallas Baptist and UCCS. Texas Woman's, Midwestern State, Angelo State, UT Tyler and Adams State all had multiple selections while Fort Lewis, UT Dallas, St. Edward's and Regis had single selections.
 
Bella Campos led a trio of First Team All-Region selections with her third consecutive appointment and now has a combined six First Team All-Region selections in her first three seasons. The RMAC Player of the Year again this fall and a D2CCA First Team All-American selection, Campos finished the fall tied for the Division II lead with 20 goals and four assists for 44 points in her first year as a full-time starter. Her point haul this fall was good for the fourth-most in a single season all-time while her 20 goals are good for third. This fall, Campos became just the second player in program history to record a 20-goal season alongside the great Kayla Mitchell. Through 65 career matches, she has scored 50 goals with 15 assists for 115 points and 12 game-winners and is ranked fourth in career goals, fifth in career points, game-winning goals, shots and shots on goal.
 
Afton Rasco ends her career with the first All-Region honors of her career. A First Team All-RMAC selection this fall, Rasco bookended her time in Golden with a 16-point season behind three goals and an RMAC-leading 10 assists while starting all 21 matches for 1,655 minutes. Her 10 assists this fall were tied for the team lead and tied for the fourth-most in a single season all-time. In her career spanning 82 matches, Rasco made 56 starts and scored 18 times with 18 assists for 54 points with six game-winning goals. Her 54 career points are tied with recent Hall of Fame inductee Emily Garnier (2014-17) for the seventh-most all-time.
 
Natalie Rouse earns her second All-Region honor from the United Soccer Coaches with her debut on the South Central First Team after previously having been named a Second Team selection in 2023. Also named a D2CCA First Team All-American this season along with being named RMAC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-RMAC, Rouse returned to action after missing nearly all of 2024 without skipping a beat. The senior from Carlsbad, California finished second on the team in goals scored with five for 10 points. Three of her five goals were game-winners and four of five came by way of set pieces. She was one of five Orediggers to start all 21 matches this fall and led the team with 1,909 minutes played and was a key fixture on a defense that recorded a 0.76 GAA and nine shutouts.
 
Allie Lundgren earned her first honors from the United Soccer Coaches with a spot on the Second Team at goalkeeper for her second All-Region honor of the season and third of her career. The Most Valuable Player of the 2025 RMAC Women's Soccer Championship, Lundgren finished second among RMAC goalies in saves with 83, the fifth-most in a single season in program history. In 21 matches, she clocked 1,753:49 with six solo shutouts and a 14-2-5 record backed with a 0.77 GAA and an .847 save percentage. In 46 career matches, Lundgren clocked 3,857:45 in goal with a 33-4-7 record, 16 shutouts, 148 saves, a 0.64 GAA and an .841 save percentage. Her time in Golden ends with her fourth on the all-time save list, sixth in shutouts and fifth in goals against average.
 
Kaitlyn Manalili rounded out the All-Region selections for Mines as she also earned a spot on the Second Team from the United Soccer Coaches for her first honor from the association and the second All-Region honor of her career. Manalili built off a career season last fall by following up with 10 assists for 10 points in 19 matches this fall to finish tied for the team and RMAC lead with Rasco while also tying with Rasco for the fourth-most assists in a single season. In 84 career matches, she made 38 starts and scored three times while adding a total of 19 assists for 25 points in 3,592 minutes. Manalili's 19 assists are tied with Reese McDermott for the fifth-most in a career all-time.
