NABC Top 25 Rankings Feb. 18
D2CSC Media Poll Feb. 18

GOLDEN, Colo. – Entering the final stretch of the 2024-25 regular season, the Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team retained their Top 10 status in the latest national rankings Tuesday, moving up to #7 in the NABC Division II Coaches Poll and remaining at #10 in the D2 CSC Media Poll

Mines (21-3, 15-1) ran their winning streak to six games last weekend at home behind 87-77 and 104-77 wins over Black Hills State and Chadron State.

A new name stood atop the coaches poll this week as Daemen stands alone as the last remaining unbeaten team in Division II this season. Previous #1 Washburn dropped their first two games of the season by a combined 11 points on the road last week and dropped to #4 this week. Nova Southeastern moved up to second followed by Alabama Huntsville in third with Dallas Baptist in rounding out the top five.

The top five in the media poll also reflected the two losses by Washburn as Nova Southeastern took over the top spot followed by Daemen. WU only dropped to three in the media rankings while Dallas Baptist and Alabama Huntsville traded places in fourth and fifth.

Mines is in action Tuesday night at MSU Denver before closing out their home schedule Thursday night at Lockridge Arena against Regis.
