COLORADO SPRINGS - Colorado School of Mines' Brock Drengenberg and Holden Murphy have been named the RMAC Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

The pair stood out at two different meets for the Orediggers on Friday as they closed the regular season ahead of the RMAC Indoor Championships. It's the second award of the season for Murphy and the first of Drengenberg's career.

Drengenberg ran a 4:00.46 mile at the Arkansas Qualifier on Friday, setting the RMAC #3 and NCAA D-II #8 time of the winter. Drengenberg's mile was the second-fastest in Mines history and virtually locks him into an NCAA Division II Championship spot.

Murphy also moved to #8 on the NCAA Division II weight throw performance list, breaking the Mines program record for the fourth time this winter with a personal-best 20.06m throw at the Last Chance Qualifier in Gunnison. Murphy took over the RMAC season lead with the throw, which was his collegiate best by a centimeter.

Mines will compete at the RMAC Indoor Championships in Colorado Springs starting Friday.
