GOODYEAR, Ariz. - Lucas Schulte's first career top-20 finish led Colorado School of Mines to a tie for ninth as The Stack Cougar-Burro Collegiate wrapped up at GC of Estrella.
The Orediggers shot an eight-over 296 on Tuesday to end up tied for ninth at +28.
Schulte - who finished tied for 21st at last week's Hot Dirt Desert Shootout - cracked the top-20 with a two-over 74 on Tuesday, setting him into a tie for 17th at +3 to lead all Orediggers in the tournament.
Max Lange was next on the leaderboard at T35 (+9) after a final-round 76, and
Carter Lolli was Mines' low score of the day with a one-under 71 to move up to T40 (+10).
Colt Tenpenny was the final round's fourth scorer with a 75 (T49, +12) while
Lukas Taggart was a non-counter with a 77 to finish T54 (+13).
#1 Colorado Christian ran away with the team title as the only squad under par at -33 after a blazing -22 final round. CCU's Adam Duncan won medalist honors in a one-hole playoff with Colorado Mesa's Cole Beyer after both men finished at -11.
Mines will next play at the FHSU Tiger Classic in Hays, Kan. on March 31 and April 1.
