COLORADO SPRINGS - Colorado School of Mines thrower Jennifer Jarnagin has earned the first RMAC Field Athlete of the Week award of the 2025 outdoor season.

It is the first career honor for Jarnagin, who opened up her outdoor season with a massive personal best in the hammer throw at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational in Pueblo on Friday. Jarnagin threw 55.39m - the #2 performance all-time at Mines - to top the early RMAC performance list and rank #2 in NCAA Division II on opening weekend. The performance was an NCAA provisional mark.

The Orediggers are set to compete Thursday hosting Colorado and MSU Denver for the Mines Midweek Meet at Stermole Track.
