PUEBLO, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines'
Chandler Wilburn won the men's 5,000m run Friday at CSU Pueblo's Chuck Haering Classic.
The redshirt freshman made his Mines outdoor debut a memorable one, clocking 15:11.73 (14:48.47 converted for sea level) to win by three seconds over a 23-runner field. It marked his official collegiate debut at that distance after competing over 3,000m indoors this winter.
The Orediggers will wrap up the weekend Saturday as
Jenna Ramsey-Rutledge and
Loic Scomparin run the 10,000m at The TEN in California.
