In their final game of the championship tournament the Colorado School of Mines fought hard against the University of Utah's B side. The game ended regular time with a nerve-wracking 10-10 score and went into 2 extra quarters of overtime where Mines was able to score 2 additional goals to secure their 12-10 win over Utah.
Mines finished the 2025 tournament in fifth place after having the smallest team of 8 players (1 goalie, 7 field players; having 0-1 subs at a time), significantly smaller than every other team in the division. The team looks forward to the next season with high hopes for the returning players!
