Mines Club Baseball Come Up Short Against CSU Rams

Mines Club Baseball fell to CSU Rams 7-2 on Friday at Long Lake Regional Park.

CSU Rams opened the scoring in the first after Grayson Andra doubled, scoring two runs.

Christian McCollam started on the bump for Mines Club Baseball. The hurler allowed six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out five and walking two. Chase Brickley stepped on the hill first for CSU Rams. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and two runs (one earned) over nine innings, striking out 18 and walking none.

Skylor Wild led Mines Club Baseball with two runs batted in. The second baseman went 2-for-3 on the day. Mines Club Baseball turned one double play in the game.

CSU Rams amassed 13 hits in the game. Andra drove the middle of the lineup, leading CSU Rams with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Colin Russo led CSU Rams with four hits in five at bats from the leadoff position. Ryan Ley collected two hits for CSU Rams in five at bats. Ned Thompson and Andra each stole multiple bases for CSU Rams. CSU Rams stole eight bases in the game. CSU Rams turned one double play in the game.
