Mines Club Baseball Loses Despite Out Hitting Air Force

Even though Mines Club Baseball collected nine hits to Air Force's three, they still fell 3-2 on Saturday at Jim Darden Field. Connor Brueske and Skylor Wild each collected two hits for Mines Club Baseball.

Christian McCollam struck out 10 batters on the day. The southpaw also allowed three hits and three runs over six innings while walking two.

Air Force were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored three runs.

Drew Weddle began the game for Air Force. The pitcher gave up nine hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out seven and walking two.

Mines Club Baseball tallied nine hits in the game. Matt Pane led Mines Club Baseball with one run batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-4 on the day. Mines Club Baseball turned one double play in the game.

Mayson Slaughter, Karson Knox, and Miles Kirk each collected one hit for Air Force.
