Powerful Pitching Performance From Christian McCollam Carries Mines Club Baseball Past Metro State University

Christian McCollam struck out 11 batters as the pitcher led Mines Club Baseball past Metro State University 10-0 on Tuesday at Long Lake Regional Park. McCollam gave up one hit and zero runs over seven innings while walking four.

Mines Club Baseball were the first to get on the board in the third when Carter Rohrig hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Mines Club Baseball scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth on a home run to left field by Roman Williams.

Mines Club Baseball scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Max Bronson doubled, scoring two runs, Williams drew a walk, scoring one run, Connor Brueske singled, scoring one run, and Declan Ward-newbrough was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
