COLORADO SPRINGS - Ahead of this weekend's RMAC Outdoor Championships, Colorado School of Mines track & field has won three of the four RMAC Athlete of the Week awards.

Jenna Ramsey-Rutledge and Loic Scomparin earned the women's and men's track athlete of the week awards, while Holden Murphy repeated as the men's field athlete of the week.

Ramsey-Rutledge, winning the honor for the second time this outdoor season, ran the nation's second-fastest 5,000m time at the Bryan Clay Invitational, breaking the Mines program record in 15:48.74. Her time - #2 in D-II and #1 in the RMAC this season - ranks #14 all-time in NCAA Division II history.

Scomparin set the Mines program record in the 10,000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational, clocking 28:16.81. His time ranks as the RMAC #2 and NCAA D-II #4 of the season, and #10 all-time in D-II history.

Murphy, earning the award for the second week in a row, continued his outstanding hammer throw form, setting back-to-back personal bests and the Mines program record in two meets last week. At the Mines Midweek #2 on Thursday, Murphy threw a personal-best 61.02m, then exceeded that at the Loper Invitational in Kearney on Saturday, hitting 61.76m for the RMAC season lead and #7 spot in D-II this season. Murphy also won the discus at the Mines Midweek in a new personal-best (and RMAC #2 performance) 51.98m.

The Orediggers are set to host the RMAC Outdoor Championships starting Friday at Stermole Track.
