2025 All-RMAC Baseball Teams
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines Baseball shortstop
Canon Humphreys was named Second-Team All-RMAC Wednesday morning as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference unveiled its 2025 all-conference squads.
Humphreys' Second-Team All-RMAC distinction is his first as an Oredigger and comes after his final season of collegiate baseball. His selection gives Mines one honoree across a loaded first-team, second-team, and all-defensive squad. The league's coaches voted on the teams and could not vote for their own players. Adam Paniagua from Regis was voted RMAC Player of the Year. Travis Farrell of CSU Pueblo earned RMAC Pitcher of the Year. Adams State's Josiah Hall brought home RMAC Freshman Player of the Year. Tyler Clementz (CSU Pueblo) and Joseph Marek (Adams State) were RMAC Co-Freshman Pitcher of the Year. Chris Hanks earned RMAC Coach of the Year after helping Colorado Mesa win a 13th consecutive regular-season title.
During the 2025 campaign, Humphreys started all 47 games as the Orediggers' shortstop. He batted .350 thanks to 57 hits including 14 doubles, one triple, and three home runs. The Clark College (NJCAA, Wash.) transfer scored 33 runs, had 23 RBI, stole seven bases, and drew 15 walks. His 11 sacrifice bunts ranked him #1 in the RMAC and #6 in the nation as of May 7. On defense, the Highlands Ranch, Colo., native fielded .910 at shortstop with his 128 assists leading the entire RMAC. Humphreys played a total of two seasons for Mines. His career numbers as an Oredigger included a .348 batting average, 66 runs, 117 hits, 25 doubles, three triples, six home runs, 51 RBI, 25 walks, 17 sacrifice bunts, and 12 stolen bases. In addition to 2025 Second-Team All-RMAC, Humphreys also earned CSC Academic All-District in 2024.
Humphreys and the Orediggers saw their 2025 season end on April 27 at Colorado Christian. Mines baseball is now in the offseason. All additional awards and the incoming signing class will be announced at
