Landon Walker is the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 2.
Walker went over 2,000 career rushing yards with a career-high 199 yards in Mines' 41-27 win over Washburn on Saturday. Carrying 26 times, Walker averaged 7.7 yards per carry and scored twice, including a game-sealing 75-yard touchdown in the third quarter, while compiling 220 total yards. Through two games, Walker is averaging a very healthy 168.5 yards per game and 6.0 yards per carry on an RMAC-most 56 totes.
It is the second career RMAC weekly honor for the redshirt senior, who also earned it after Week 2 last season.
Mines remains at home to host Chadron State this Saturday at noon.
