Baseball Sets 2025 Homecoming Schedule

GOLDEN, Colo.
– Robby Bales, head coach of Mines baseball, has announced a full slate of festivities for Mines' 2025 Homecoming Weekend which will include numerous events for Oredigger baseball alumni and supporters, running Oct. 3-5.
 
Activities begin the morning of Friday, Oct. 3,with the annual Mines Baseball Golf Outing at West Woods Golf Club. Alumni, parents, and patrons are all invited. Alumni should RSVP to Logan Smith at smith.logan34@gmail.com. Parents and patrons can RSVP to Lance Niles at rlniles1999@hotmail.com. The cost is $175 per golfer with mulligans for sale, a fungo bat hole, prize drawings, and awards. All proceeds go directly to the program for equipment needs.
 
Later on Friday, current players (not open to the public) will volunteer their time at the Coors Field Upper Deck Golf experience. Upper Deck Golf at Coors Field is affiliated with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) which is a charity and groundbreaking initiative to accelerate innovative cancer research.
 
Festivities continue Saturday starting with the Mines football game at noon against Colorado Mesa. Those planning to attend can RSVP to coach Bales (rbales@mines.edu) for tickets. Following the football game, alumni are invited back to Jim Darden Field for batting practice at 3:30 p.m. In the evening, all baseball supporters are invited to attend the 2025 Mines Athletics Auction & Hall of Fame Dinner at Lockridge Arena at 6 p.m. Tickets and tables are both available and can be purchased HERE.
 
Sunday features breakfast and batting practice for current players at 10 a.m. At noon, Mines will scrimmage against Western Nebraska Community College. Admission is free.
