Mines Men's Club Soccer secured a thrilling 2–1 victory over the University of Denver on Saturday, Sept. 20, earning a key win in their fall campaign.
The Orediggers battled through a tightly contested match, with both sides trading momentum throughout the afternoon. Mines ultimately found the edge thanks to the outstanding performance of Thomas Clemens, who netted both goals for the squad. His brace proved to be the difference-maker, carrying the Orediggers to the win over their in-state rival.
