It was a busy and successful week for Oredigger Esports, with teams across multiple titles taking the stage and delivering big results.

  • League of Legends Varsity opened the week strong with a 2-0 sweep over California State University. A perfectly timed three-man Ornn knock-up into a Miss Fortune ultimate sealed a pivotal teamfight and the series for Mines.

  • League of Legends Junior Varsity battled through a tense three-game set against Stephen F. Austin State University, ultimately clinching the series 2-1 thanks to some clutch kiting mechanics from the ADC to close out Game 3.

  • Rocket League Varsity fell to Waukesha County Technical College 0-3, but the squad is eager to regroup and push for their first win next week against DePaul University.

  • Rainbow Six Siege Varsity secured a commanding 2-0 victory over St. Charles Community College. After edging out a nail-biter 8-7 in Map 1, Mines dominated Map 2 with a convincing 7-2 scoreline to close the series.

  • Overwatch Varsity continued the winning trend with a 3-1 victory over the University of Oregon, fueled by a string of highlight-worthy plays.

  • Valorant Varsity dropped a tough match 0-2 to the University of Oregon, but will look to bounce back in next week's matchup against UBC Okanagan.

  • Valorant Junior Varsity earned an impressive 2-1 win over UBC Okanagan, highlighted by an incredible 1v5 clutch from Tristen Erpelding that set the tone early in the series.

  • Counter-Strike Varsity closed out the week with a razor-thin 1-2 loss to Iowa State University. After splitting the first two maps, the decisive third slipped away in a narrow 11-13 finish, though Zaudan Wawhkyung's AWP double kill in Map 2 was a standout highlight.

Across all titles, Mines Esports showed significant progress this week, notching multiple statement wins and building momentum heading into next week's contests. With Varsity and Junior Varsity squads both finding success, the Orediggers are hungry to keep the streak alive.
