The Colorado School of Mines Men's Rugby B-Side took the field in Boulder and came away with a gritty 10–5 victory over CU's B-Side. The friendly contest proved to be an invaluable developmental match while also giving the Orediggers another reason to celebrate.

With tons of rookies in the lineup, Mines used the opportunity to get players valuable game-time experience. The squad rose to the challenge, playing with energy, composure, and determination from start to finish. The tight scoreline made every possession matter, and the Orediggers delivered with clutch plays on both sides of the ball.
