The Colorado School of Mines Men's Rugby Club was scheduled to open its home slate on September 20^th against Western Colorado University. However, Western was unable to field a side, resulting in a forfeit victory for the Orediggers.

While disappointed not to take the field in front of their home crowd, Mines used the opportunity to stay sharp with an intrasquad training session and continue building toward the heart of the fall season. The squad has already faced top competition in Air Force and Colorado State, and the added preparation time will serve them well as they gear up for the next stretch of matches.

The Orediggers remain focused on their ultimate goal of returning to the Division III national stage. With strong leadership and continued growth, Mines is eager to carry their momentum into upcoming contests and showcase their progress in front of fans in Golden.
