The Mines Women's Club Soccer team opened its 2025 season on Saturday, September 6, with a home match against CU Boulder. Despite a strong performance, the Orediggers fell 2–1 in a competitive contest.

After trailing for most of the match, Mines showed resilience late. In the 89th minute, Kaeli Nallathamby powered home a header off a corner kick from Samantha Parks, giving the Orediggers their first goal of the season and an exciting finish to the game.

While the result didn't go Mines' way, the team displayed determination and chemistry that will carry momentum into the rest of the season.
