NEW ORLEANS - The Colorado School of Mines men's and women's track & field teams are both in the top 10 of the first USTFCCCA rankings of the indoor season.

The Oredigger women open at #6 - tied for their best-ever indoor ranking- and the men sit at #7. Those rankings reflect two strong weekends of competition so far this season that has seen Mines set a dozen top-10 NCAA marks and 19 NCAA provisional performances overall. Brock Drengenberg is #9 in the mile and Dawson Gunn (#10) and Ethan Grolnic (#13) are both inside the top 15 in the 5K.
