GOLDEN, Colo. — Mines Women's Rugby returns to the pitch Sunday, Oct. 18, traveling to Boulder for a second-side matchup against the University of Colorado Boulder at 9 a.m.
The early-morning contest offers Mines another opportunity to develop its depth, give players valuable match experience and continue building chemistry across the program.
The Orediggers have seen contributions from both their Silver and Blue sides throughout the fall. The Silver side most recently earned a 92-7 victory over Colorado College, showcasing its attacking pace and teamwork. Meanwhile, the Blue side has continued to gain experience against strong opposition, including an 85-17 matchup against the University of Denver.
Sunday's match gives Mines another chance to build on that progress, with players looking to sharpen their positioning, communication and execution against a familiar in-state opponent.
Kickoff is scheduled for 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, in Boulder.
