Mines Men's Club Soccer hits the road this weekend for two matchups, taking on Colorado State University on Saturday, Oct. 17, before traveling to Colorado Springs to face the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on Sunday, Oct. 18.
The Orediggers open the weekend against Colorado State's Gold team at 4 p.m. Saturday in Fort Collins. Mines will then head south for Sunday's matchup against UCCS, closing out a busy weekend of competition.
With two games in two days, consistency, communication, and recovery will be important for the Orediggers. The team will look to stay organized, create scoring opportunities, and maintain its intensity across both matchups.
The weekend provides Mines with an opportunity to continue building chemistry and gain momentum as the season progresses. The Orediggers will need to adapt to two different opponents while staying focused on executing their game plan and competing for results on the road.
