Mines Builds Momentum Heading Into Final Stretch
The Orediggers' sweep of South Dakota Mines marked another major step forward in their fall campaign. After beginning the season with a 1-3-1 record through their first five games, Mines has responded with five consecutive victories to improve to 6-3-1.
The offense has been particularly impressive during the winning streak, scoring 59 runs across five games while allowing just 13. Mines has now reached double-digit scoring in seven of its 10 contests this fall.
