Mines Women's Soccer earned a 1-0 win over Colorado Mesa University on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Clear Creek Athletic Complex.

The Orediggers controlled play throughout the first half, applying consistent pressure and creating opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net before halftime. Mines remained patient and continued to push forward in the second half, eventually breaking through with a goal from Samantha Parks, assisted by Kassidy Sarno.

The goal proved to be the difference as Mines maintained its defensive effort and held Colorado Mesa scoreless for the remainder of the match.

The Orediggers secured the 1-0 victory at home, finishing a strong performance with a shutout win over the Mavericks.
