Mines Women's Club Soccer closed out Senior Day on Sunday, Oct. 25, with a hard-fought performance against Air Force at Clear Creek Athletic Complex. Despite a 2-0 loss, the Orediggers continued to compete throughout the match while celebrating the seniors who have contributed to the program.

Air Force opened the scoring in the first half with a goal off a corner kick. Mines worked to create opportunities and find an equalizer but entered halftime trailing 1-0.

Air Force added a second goal after the break, but the Orediggers continued to battle and push forward in search of a response. Although Mines couldn't find the back of the net, the team maintained its effort through the final whistle.
