GOLDEN, Colo. — Mines Women's Rugby returns home Saturday, Oct. 31, welcoming Northern Colorado for a 10:30 a.m. matchup as the Orediggers look to build on their recent success in sevens play.

Mines enters the weekend coming off an undefeated performance on Oct. 24, earning three wins across matches against the University of Denver and the University of Colorado Boulder B-side. The Orediggers opened with a 24-7 victory over DU, followed with a 47-0 shutout, and closed the day with a 27-17 win over CU's B-side.

The three-match sweep showcased Mines' offensive depth and defensive discipline, with contributions from across the lineup. Ayana Mejorado led the opening win with four tries, while Piper Lee helped drive the attack in the second match. The team also showed its ability to respond under pressure in the final contest, securing the victory after CU fought back.

Saturday's home matchup against Northern Colorado offers Mines another opportunity to continue developing its sevens game, sharpen its execution and carry the momentum from last weekend into a new challenge.

Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Mines.
