2026-27 Mines Women's Basketball Schedule
Â
GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines women's basketball team is set for the 2026-27 season which will open Friday, Nov. 13, at #6-ranked Texas Woman's in Denton, Texas.
Â
Overall, the upcoming slate features 28 games with eight non-conference games, a trip to Las Vegas, 20 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference contests, and 16 showdowns at Lockridge Arena. Ten of the games in Golden are involved in the RMAC portion of the schedule. Two others are neutral contests as part of the region crossover. Mines enters the 2026-27 season looking to build on its return to the conference tournament after going 15-17 (10-10 RMAC) in 2025-26.
Â
As mentioned above, the Orediggers' season opens Nov. 13 on the road at Texas Woman's which appeared at #6 in the coaches' preseason national rankings. That trip to the Dallas Metroplex wraps Saturday with Mines playing at UT Dallas in Richardson, Texas. The women's home openers will be Nov. 20-21 as they host Saint Martin's, Seattle Pacific, and Adams State at Lockridge Arena. Mines plays Saint Martin's at 5 p.m. on Friday and Seattle Pacific at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Fellow conference squad ASU plays Seattle Pacific and Saint Martin's immediately after Mines both days. Then, non-conference home action concludes the Tuesday before Thanksgiving with Cameron coming to town for a 5 p.m. faceoff.
Â
After the holiday, RMAC action opens at home against MSU Denver on Tuesday, Dec. 1, before the Orediggers hit the road to close out the calendar. Regis, New Mexico Highlands, and Adams State mark the last league play of 2026. Mines also plans to play at the Holiday Hoops Classic in Las Vegas, Nev., against preseason #21 Western Washington and Findlay Dec. 18-19. Following the winter break, the Orediggers look to ring in the new year against Northern New Mexico on Jan. 2 at Lockridge Arena. That brings Mines into the second half of the season which features only RMAC play. Home contests in the final two months include #2 Colorado Mesa, Westminster, UCCS, CSU Pueblo, Regis, Fort Lewis, New Mexico Highlands, Chadron State, and South Dakota Mines.
