COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Mines Club Tennis delivered a dominant performance Saturday, sweeping the singles competition and earning victories across doubles and mixed doubles on its way to an 14-1 win in matches and 87-31 advantage in total games over Colorado College at the Colorado College campus.
The Orediggers established control early in singles competition, winning all six matches on the slate.
Bruno Denegri led the way with a 6-3 victory, while Alex Ross and Wyatt Windsheimer each posted commanding victories, winning 6-0 and 6-1, respectively. Liesl Stephenson added another 6-0 victory, while Liz Chee also earned a 6-0 win.

Ben Chandler and Andrew Yonan added a 6-1 win, while Ariana Linhardt and Liesl Stephenson continued their strong day with a 6-1 victory.
The Orediggers closed out the doubles slate with two more wins. Chris Esquibel and Ryan Bautista earned a 6-3 victory, while Liz Chee and Suzanna Hextrum finished with a 6-3 win.
Mines carried its momentum into mixed doubles, going undefeated across all three matches.
Noah Stenov and Lily Sommer opened mixed doubles with another close 6-5 victory. Ben Chandler and Ariana Linhardt followed with a convincing 6-2 win before Joao Vitor Peclat Fayad and Suzanna Hextrum closed the competition with a 6-2 victory.
The performance showcased the depth of the Mines lineup, with 14 different Orediggers recording at least one victory across the three formats. Mines also demonstrated its ability to close out tight matches, winning both 6-5 contests in doubles and mixed doubles.
The result marks a strong bounce-back performance for the Orediggers after falling to CU Boulder in their previous scrimmage. Mines collected five individual match victories against CU, but Saturday's performance in Colorado Springs saw the Orediggers control the majority of the competition from start to finish.
With the scrimmage providing opportunities across singles, doubles and mixed doubles, Mines continued to build experience and chemistry throughout its lineup. The Orediggers' 87-31 advantage in total games reflected a comprehensive team performance and gave the squad momentum heading into the next portion of the fall schedule.
Mines will carry that momentum into its next competition as the Orediggers continue their fall campaign.
