Men's Club Lacrosse returns to action this weekend as the Orediggers open the Spring 2026 season with a home matchup against Air Force on Friday, February 13, at 7:00 p.m. The contest will be played at the Stermole Track & Field Complex / Crouch Field Events Complex and marks Mines' first home game of the spring semester.
Friday night's matchup serves as an early test for the Orediggers, as Air Force brings a disciplined and physical style of play that has made the Falcons a consistent presence in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference. Opening the season against a familiar Front Range opponent provides Mines an immediate opportunity to set the tone for conference play and establish momentum moving forward.
With a full offseason of preparation behind them, the Orediggers will look to capitalize on home-field advantage and start the spring slate on a strong note. The home opener also offers the first chance for fans to see the team's offseason development translate to game action as Mines looks to build chemistry and pace early in the season.
Following Friday's contest, Mines will continue spring play with a multi-game road trip to Arizona, making the home opener an important chance to establish rhythm before a busy stretch of games away from Golden.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support Men's Club Lacrosse as the Orediggers take the field under the lights to open the Spring 2026 season.
