The Colorado School of Mines Men's Club Lacrosse heads south this weekend for a three-game road trip through Arizona, opening a busy stretch of spring competition with matchups against regional and national opponents.
Mines begins the trip on Friday, February 20, with a road contest against Arizona Christian University Men's Lacrosse at 7:00 p.m. in Glendale, Arizona. The opener will set the tone for the weekend as the Orediggers look to establish rhythm early against a physical opponent on its home field.
The weekend continues on Saturday, February 21, when Mines faces Northern Arizona University Men's Lacrosse in a neutral-site matchup at 12:00 p.m. in Phoenix. The midday contest will test Mines' depth and conditioning as the team plays its second game in less than 24 hours.
Mines wraps up the Arizona trip on Sunday, February 22, taking on Long Beach State University Men's Lacrosse at 11:00 a.m. in Glendale. The finale provides an opportunity for the Orediggers to finish the weekend strong against a West Coast opponent before returning home.
The three-game trip will challenge Mines with quick turnarounds and varied playing styles, offering valuable experience as the team continues to build momentum during the early portion of the spring season.
Fans can follow along throughout the weekend via live streams available for each matchup.
