The Colorado School of Mines Ice Hockey team returns to action this weekend for a home-and-home ACHA series against Air Force, beginning with a home matchup on Saturday, February 7, before traveling to the U.S. Air Force Academy for the series finale on Sunday, February 8.

Saturday Night at Apex

Mines will host Air Force on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at Apex Ice Arena in Arvada, looking to continue its strong spring momentum in front of the home crowd. The matchup serves as a key late-season test as the Orediggers prepare for the final stretch of the schedule.

Mines Public Skate Before Puck Drop

Adding to Saturday's excitement, Mines Ice Hockey will host a Mines Public Skate prior to the game, welcoming fans and members of the Mines community onto the ice ahead of puck drop. The public skate provides a unique opportunity for fans to engage with the program before cheering on the Orediggers under the lights at Apex.

Sunday Road Test at Air Force

The series concludes on Sunday, February 8, when Mines travels to face Air Force at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. The road contest will challenge the Orediggers to maintain consistency and energy across back-to-back games against a disciplined opponent.

With two games in two days, Mines will look to execute cleanly in all three zones and build off recent performances as the spring schedule continues.
