The Colorado School of Mines Women's Club Lacrosse team will close out a record-breaking season this Saturday with a matchup against the University of Denver at DU. The starting draw is set for 6:00 PM as the Orediggers travel across town for their final game of the year.
Mines enters the matchup looking to finish the season strong against a competitive Denver team. The Orediggers will look to move the ball quickly on offense and stay disciplined on defense as they take on DU on their home field. This season has marked significant growth for the program.
For the first time, Mines consistently had enough players on the roster to allow for substitutions, giving the team greater depth and energy throughout games. The Orediggers also traveled to Santa Barbara earlier in the season for competition and picked up a few wins along the way. Another major milestone came when the team hosted the first-ever home tournament in program history, welcoming multiple teams to Mines and marking an important step forward for the program.
Saturday's game at DU will serve as the final chapter of a season that set new standards for Mines Women's Club Lacrosse, highlighting the program's continued growth both on and off the field. Starting draw is scheduled for 6:00 PM at the University of Denver.
