Mines Women's Club Lacrosse is set to welcome teams from across the region to Golden for the annual Mines Madness Tournament, taking place March 6–8 at Stermole Track & Field Complex / Crouch Field Events Complex.
Hosted by the Colorado School of Mines, the three-day event will feature six programs: University of Denver, Montana State University, Utah Tech University, Southern Utah University, United States Air Force Academy, and Mines. All games will be streamed on ClubCast.tv.
Spotlight on the Orediggers
Mines enters the weekend eager to defend its home turf and continue building momentum in front of its home crowd. The Orediggers will play three games over the tournament, highlighted by a special Senior Night celebration on Saturday afternoon.
Friday, March 6
7:00 PM – Mines vs. Montana State
The tournament opens Friday night under the lights as Mines takes on Montana State. The evening matchup provides an opportunity for the Orediggers to set the tone early and energize the home crowd to start the weekend strong.
Saturday, March 7
8:00 AM – Mines vs. Utah Tech
2:00 PM – Mines vs. Southern Utah (Senior Night)
Saturday features a busy slate, beginning with an early-morning contest against Utah Tech. The Orediggers will look to maintain composure and consistency in the quick turnaround environment that tournament play demands.
At 2:00 PM, Mines returns to the field for a marquee matchup against Southern Utah — a game that will also serve as Senior Night. The program will honor its graduating seniors for their leadership, dedication, and contributions to the growth of Mines Women's Lacrosse. Competing in front of family, friends, and alumni, the Orediggers will look to deliver a strong performance in celebration of the senior class.
