Golden, Colo. — Mines Club Esports competed in five matches this week across League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, and Overwatch. The week featured a mix of forfeits and played matches, with Rainbow Six Siege Varsity securing the lone victory for the Orediggers.
League of Legends Varsity vs Southern Illinois University

League of Legends Varsity dropped a 0–2 result to Southern Illinois University via forfeit.
League of Legends Junior Varsity vs California State University, San Bernardino

Result: L, 0–2 (Forfeit)
League of Legends JV also fell by forfeit, losing 0–2 to California State University, San Bernardino.
Rainbow Six Siege Varsity vs University of Akron

Result: W, 2–0 (Forfeit)
Rainbow Six Siege Varsity earned a 2–0 victory over the University of Akron by forfeit, securing the team's only win of the week.
Overwatch Varsity vs USAMOBT Team

Result: L, 0–3
Overwatch Varsity faced the USAMOBT Team and fell 0–3 in the series. Mines battled throughout but was unable to secure a map victory.
Overwatch Varsity vs UKN Equinox

Overwatch Varsity returned to action later in the week, falling 1–3 to UKN Equinox. The Orediggers were able to take one map but ultimately could not complete the comeback.
