Final Results
PUEBLO, Colo. -
Lukas Taggart's under-par finish led Colorado School of Mines to a fourth-place showing at the Sam Proal Invitational at Pueblo Country Club on Tuesday.
The Orediggers shot a 10-over 294 to land at +12 but held off Hutchinson College by a shot to stay in fourth place.
Taggart moved up the leaderboard with his one-under 70, taking him to -1 for the tournament and a tie for 11th place.
Colt Tenpenny finished with a 76 to fall back to T16 at +1, while
Liam Allan and
Lucas Schulte remained tied as both shot 74 to finish T31 at +6.
Enzo Martínez closed with a 76 to be T74 (+17).
Mitch Stock led Mines' individuals with an even-par round of 71 to move to T28 (+5), and
Giacomo Gaggero was also even par on Tuesday to finish T31 (+6).
Zach Shallat finished tied for 38th on his final-round 75,
Max Lange also shot 75 to be T63 (+14), and
Carter Lolli closed with a 79 to be T71 (+16).
Colorado Christian won the team title at -11 ahead of CSU Pueblo (-3) and West Texas A&M (-2). CCU's Peyton Jones was the medalist at -10, a stroke ahead of CSU Pueblo's Marius Dosiere.
The Orediggers finish the regular season next week at the Mustang Intercollegiate in Arizona.
