Orediggers Split Under the Lights Against CU Boulder

Colorado School of Mines faced off against the University of Colorado-Boulder Buffaloes in a two-game set, coming away with a split after a tough loss followed by a dominant bounce-back win.

In the first contest, Mines fell 7–3 in a 7-inning game. Despite the loss, Skylor Wild provided a spark at the plate with a hit that drove in two runs. On the mound, Eli Benschoter put together a solid outing, allowing just one run across three innings of work.

The Orediggers responded in a big way in the second game on March 12 at 8:00pm, cruising to an 11–3 victory in another 7-inning matchup. Max Bronson led the offensive surge with a three-hit performance, while Christian McCollam was dominant out of the bullpen, racking up 11 strikeouts over four innings in relief to shut down the Buffaloes.
