Mines Second In LEARFIELD Directors' Cup Winter Standings

Final Winter Standings

GOLDEN, Colo.
- Colorado School of Mines is second in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings after the winter season, in a measurement of the top athletics programs in NCAA Division II.

Through two seasons in the 2025-26 school year, the Orediggers have compiled 550 points toward the Cup, trailing Grand Valley State (790.5) and just ahead of Wingate (538.5). Mines duplicated its 275 points from the fall to move up to second.

Mines was led by strong ninth-place national finishes by the men's and women's indoor track & field teams (69 points each), while wrestling finished 14th to contribute 61.5 points, women's swimming added 58.5 points via a 16th-place finish, and men's swimming pitched in 17 points with a 28th-place finish.

The RMAC was well-represented in the standings with three programs in the top-10 and five in the top-15 as Colorado Mesa (4th), Adams State (7th), and UCCS (13th) joined the Orediggers. 

Final results will be announced following the spring championship season.
