Colorado School of Mines Men's Club Soccer delivered an emphatic performance on Wednesday night, cruising to a 6-1 victory over CU Denver at Stermole Track & Field Complex. The commanding win pushes the Orediggers into the winners' bracket of the Spring tournament as they continue their postseason run.

Mines set the tone early, controlling possession and applying constant pressure in the attacking third. The breakthrough came quickly, and the Orediggers never looked back, piling on goals with a balanced offensive effort and sharp finishing. By halftime, Mines had already built a comfortable lead, allowing them to dictate the pace for the remainder of the match.

Defensively, the Orediggers remained organized and disciplined, limiting CU Denver's opportunities throughout the night. A late goal from the visitors prevented the shutout, but it did little to slow Mines' momentum in what was otherwise a complete team performance.

The 6-1 result marks one of the team's most dominant outings of the season and comes at a crucial time as tournament play intensifies. With the win, Mines advances in the winners' bracket and is set to face Colorado College in the next round. A victory there would match them up against either CU Boulder or Colorado Mesa with a chance to continue their push for the Spring tournament title.

Riding high after a statement win, the Orediggers will look to carry their momentum forward as the competition stiffens in the rounds ahead.
