Final Results
BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Led by
Liam Allan and
Lukas Taggart's top-five finishes, Colorado School of Mines finished tied for second in a wind-shortened final round of the 2026 RMAC Championships.
The Orediggers - and the rest of the field - struggled through howling conditions at Boulder Creek that worsened through the day. It was determined after Monday's play that the third round would be broken into two stipulated nine-hole rounds, and if wind caused a halt to play results would revert back to the previously complete nine; that's exactly what happened as the early starters had just finished their full rounds and Mines was in the middle of their second nine, so all scores reverted back to what they were after 45 holes.
Allan finished tied for second overall at -7 as Colorado Christian's Bradley Mulder finished a shot ahead for the individual title. Taggart moved up a spot to fourth at -6, the only Oredigger under par on the day at one under.
Enzo Martínez was even par to finish tied for eighth at -3.
Lucas Schulte was seven-over at the turn to finish T29 (+8), and
Giacomo Gaggero was the same on the day and for the tournament.
Colt Tenpenny finished T41 at +23.
Colorado Mesa and CSU Pueblo did enough to move up the leaderboard as CMU won by two strokes (-12) with an even-par final round. Mines and CSUP tied for second at -10 as the Thunderwolves were three under to Mines' +9.
Mines, 11th in the last regional rankings, will have to see if their performance is enough to get them into the top 10 and the NCAA Regional when that field is announced on Sunday.
