GOLDEN, Colo. Evan Bilter and Brody Duvall were both recognized by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association Friday as First-Team All-Region players for the Colorado School of Mines Baseball team.

Bilter was voted to the top team at third base. Duvall earned his nod in the outfield. They were two of 35 athletes recognized across the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and Lone Star Conference (LSC) with 17 first-team selections, 17 second-team selections, and one honorable mention nod. Colorado Mesa swept the superlative awards. Kolby Felix won NCBWA South Central Region Player of the Year. Jackson Eisenhauer was the NCBWA South Central Region Pitcher of the Year. Chris Hanks brought home NCBWA South Central Region Coach of the Year distinction. The teams were voted on by an eight-member committee with four representatives from each conference in the region.

The accolade for Bilter adds to a 2026 resume that includes First-Team All-RMAC at first base, RMAC All-Tournament and a pair of preseason nods. On the diamond, the Pleasanton, Calif., native batted .410 with 58 runs on 86 hits including 19 doubles, two triples, and nine home runs. He also tallied 67 RBI, was walked 19 times and hit by a pitch 24 times while adding three stolen bases on four attempts. Bilter surpassed 200 career hits during the season as well. His 2026 honors add to an Honorable Mention All-RMAC award at designated hitter in 2024.

Duvall, like Bilter, was also First-Team All-RMAC. He had a record-breaking season for the Orediggers with his 92 hits which topped the program's all-time mark for hits in a season. The previous record was 85 set by Tevor Kehe in 2019. That production helped the Utah native bat .460 for the year while totaling 73 runs, 18 doubles, five triples, three home runs and 33 RBI. He added 17 walks and 18 stolen bases on 20 attempts too. Duvall finished the regular season and the conference tournament ranked #1 in the nation in hits per game and #2 in batting average. This spring marked his first active campaign with the Orediggers.

Bilter, Duvall, and the Orediggers closed their 2026 season after an improbable run to the championship game of the conference tournament earlier this month. Additional postseason awards including academic accolades and all-America teams will be announced at www.minesathletics.com and on social media.
