2026 D2CCA All-South Central Region Baseball Teams

CANYON, Texas – Evan Bilter, Brody Duvall, Alex Dunagan, and Luke Parker each earned all-region nods from the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Monday morning following their stellar seasons for the Colorado School of Mines Baseball team.

Bilter was named D2CCA First-Team All-Region at third base. Duvall earned a first-team nod in the outfield. Dunagan was named D2CCA Second-Team All-Region as an outfielder. Parker joined Dunagan on the second team at the utility pitcher position. Overall, the D2CCA squads for the South Central Region included 16 first-team selections and 17 second-team selections. Colorado Mesa's Kolby Felix and Jackson Eisenhauer swept region player and pitcher of the year honors. The teams were voted on by communications professionals from around the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and Lone Star Conference. Members of the first team advance to the D2CCA All-America ballot.

Monday's announcement marks the second all-region award of the year for Bilter who also claimed first-team all-region at third base via the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association (NCBWA). The redshirt junior was also First-Team All-RMAC and RMAC All-Tournament in 2026. On the diamond, the Pleasanton, Calif., native batted .410 with 58 runs on 86 hits including 19 doubles, two triples, and nine home runs. He also tallied 67 RBI, was walked 19 times and hit by a pitch 24 times while adding three stolen bases on four attempts. Bilter surpassed 200 career hits during the season as well. His 2026 honors add to an Honorable Mention All-RMAC award at designated hitter in 2024.

Duvall was also NCBWA First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-RMAC. He had a record-breaking season for the Orediggers with his 92 hits which topped the program's all-time mark for hits in a season. The previous record was 85 set by Trevor Kehe in 2019. That production helped the Utah native bat .460 for the year while totaling 73 runs, 18 doubles, five triples, three home runs and 33 RBI. He added 17 walks and 18 stolen bases on 20 attempts too. Duvall finished the regular season and the conference tournament ranked #1 in the nation in hits per game and #2 in batting average. This spring marked his first active campaign with the Orediggers.

Dunagan's D2CCA Second-Team All-Region distinction is the first such accolade of his career. It bolsters a season resume that includes RMAC All-Tournament, the RMAC Summit Award, and Male Academic Athlete of the Year at Mines' Blaster Awards. The senior finished the season and conference tournament leading the nation in total doubles as he batted .346 with 54 runs on 73 hits including 25 doubles, two triples, 12 home runs, and 73 RBI. He also walked 17 times, was hit by a pitch 10 times and stole nine bases on 11 attempts. Dunagan's RBI production ranked #2 in program history as well.

Parker, one of the rare two-way players in the RMAC, also grabbed the first all-region award of his career. On the mound, the sophomore went 2-3 in 17 appearances with three starts. He tossed one complete game while striking out 32 batters across 31.1 innings of work. At the plate, Parker batted .423 with seven runs on 11 hits including one double, two home runs, and 11 RBI. Most of his production on offense came during Mines' Cinderella run to the championship game of the conference tournament.

Bilter, Duvall, Dunagan, Parker, and the Orediggers' season came to an end earlier this month in the conference tournament. They closed the 2026 campaign with a record of 21-33 (14-18 RMAC), qualified for the conference tournament and played for a tournament title before falling to #1-ranked and top-seeded Colorado Mesa. Additional postseason awards will be announced in the coming weeks at www.minesathletics.com and on social media.
