GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines Volleyball Head Coach
Jamie Magalei added three more newcomers to her signing class this spring to bring her incoming group this fall to six.
Kennedie Browning,
Emily Rohrer, and
Bailey Rosander were the latest additions to Magalei's incoming class. They join
Sophia Davila,
Kaiya Gilbert, and
Caroline Walden who signed with Mines last fall. Browning and Rosander will be true freshmen for the Orediggers. Rohrer arrives in Golden after spending four years at Southwest Minnesota State.

Farmington, Ark. – Farmington HS – Ozark Juniors Volleyball Club 18 National
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Earned four varsity letters playing volleyball at Farmington High School in Arkansas … Played in the back row and racked up 412 digs during her senior season with a 2.4 passing percentage … Two-time all-conference player with all-state, ArVCA All-Star Player, and AHSCA All-Star Nominee distinction … Guided her team to two conference titles and two runner-up finishes in the conference … Helped FHS take runner-up at the state tournament as a junior … Played club volleyball for Ozarks Juniors Volleyball Club on the 18 National team and was part of the 2025 national runner-up squad … Academically, a member of the National Honor Society while appearing on the honor roll … Also dual credited … Plans to major in mechanical engineering at Mines.
Emily Rohrer – 6-1 – Middle Blocker
Slayton, Minn. – Murray County Central HS – Southwest Minnesota State
SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE (2022-25): Redshirted as a true freshman in 2022 before seeing action in four sets across three matches in 2023 … Earned Academic All-NSIC in 2024 after appearing in 12 sets across six matches as a redshirt sophomore … Second active season included four kills, three digs, and two blocks … Earned Academic All-NSIC and was NSIC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 29 during her third active season … Totaled 18 matches with four starts with 36 sets of action as a redshirt sophomore … Put down 38 kills while hitting .341 for the year with 25 total blocks … Notched five or more kills in three matches and had five or more blocks in three other matches … Had career-high six kills twice and notched a career-best six blocks against Pittsburg State … Weekly award came after wins over MSU Moorehead and Minnesota Crookston where she totaled 10 kills on 12 attempts with zero errors while adding 10 total blocks across the two matches … Graduated from SMSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played prep volleyball for Murray County Central High School in Minnesota under coach Kate DeLong … Named all-conference twice … Senior season featured 369 kills, 72 blocks, and 25 service aces … Earned Marshall Independent All-Area Honorable Mention as a senior … Also played basketball at MCCHS and played club for Southwest Minnesota Volleyball Club.
Bailey Rosander – 6-0 – Middle Blocker
Salt Lake City, Utah – Skyline HS – Club V
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Competed as a middle blocker for the volleyball team at Skyline High School in Utah … Earned four varsity letters … Career statistics included 560 kills, 168 blocks, 93 aces, and a .250 attack percentage … As a junior was named Utah Third-Team All-State, PrepVolleyball All-Region, and Second-Team All-Region 6 while helping Skyline win the Utah 5A State title … Also helped her team to a fifth-place finish at the USAV National Championship in the open division … As a senior, served as team captain and was named First-Team All-State, First-Team All-Region 6, and one of PreDig Utah's Top 20 High School Players after helping SHS to a runner-up finish at the state tournament … Played club volleyball for Club V … Off the court, served as a board member for the Women Tech Council SheTech all four years of high school … Competed and won an award in 2024 as part of the Student Pitch Event which included a presentation deck on a sustainable fashion boutique … Appeared on the Academic Honor Roll in 2022 and 2023 and the High Academic Honor Roll in 2024 and 2025 … Earned her Manufacturing Principles 1 Certification from the Utah State Board of Education in 2025 as well … Plans to major in electrical engineering at Mines.
