Easton/NFCA Division II Academic Teams
 
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) recently announced its list of All-America Scholar-Athletes presented by Easton and saw 12 members of the Colorado School of Mines softball program recognized for their efforts in the classroom during the 2025-26 season, while as a group Mines was honored as one of the top academic teams in the country.
 
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have achieved a 3.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale during the course of 2025-26 academic year. Nationally across all levels of collegiate softball, 8,850 student-athletes were honored for their academic achievements including 1,869 from NCAA Division II.
 
RMAC First Team All-Academic selections Kendall Aragon and Taylor Wayne led the contingent of Orediggers which also included Katie Bauer, Kylie Bickford, Mia Lopez, Kat Miller, Kenzie Sale, Emiaj Self, Ellen Shull, Morgan Stewart, Kiyana Tsuei and Kate Whipple.
 
Eight members of the Mines program repeated academic honors from the NFCA from last spring while as a program, the Orediggers sported a 3.384 GPA and were one of five programs from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference who submitted nominations for consideration. Among those five schools, Mines was fourth among the RMAC behind Brechler Award winner Black Hills State (3.758), MSU Denver (3.66) and UCCS (3.447) while finishing ahead of CSU Pueblo (3.16).
