Mines Triathlon kicked off the season at the U.S. Air Force Academy with a multiple-round super sprint distance triathlon.
The race challenged athletes through multiple rounds of swimming, biking, and running, making for a fast-paced and competitive start to the season.
The team had a strong showing, with athletes competing through each round and representing Mines well throughout the race.
The highlight of the day was an outstanding performance from freshman Tavish Quinn, who finished 2nd overall and earned a spot on the podium.
With this being the first race of the season, it was a great opportunity for the team to compete, gain experience, and see where they stand heading into the rest of the season.
Overall, it was a strong start for Mines Triathlon, and the team is looking forward to building on this performance in the races ahead.
